Azerbaijan's Consul General in Russia unveils Azerbaijan's success

He spoke of the Russian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental relations, economic and humanitarian cooperation, cultural exchange and joint events, the activity of Azeri Diaspora in Sverdlovsk region.

On the difficult period of Azerbaijan history in mid 90-s, Gasimov underscored an invaluable role of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in preserving the Azerbaijan state system after regaining independence. Gasimov also touched upon the Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan and occupation of Azerbaijan`s territories.

He hailed Russian-Azerbaijani relations which are developing steadily in many areas. Azerbaijan Consul said relations between Azerbaijan and Sverdlovsk region of Russia develop on the basis of the cooperation agreement signed in 2006.
