Peru expressed its opinion on the "elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh

The Permanent Mission of Peru to the United Nations sent a letter to the Azerbaijani representation in this Organization. In its letter the Mission expresses position regarding the "parliamentary elections" held May 23 in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Foreign said in its statement.

"Peru supports the principle of state sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of internationally recognized borders and the inadmissibility of the occupation of territories by force, supports resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through peaceful negotiations, as well as supports the efforts of the UN, OSCE, the Minsk Group" the letter says.
