14 June 2010 [13:45] - TODAY.AZ
There are no Azerbaijanis among those killed or wounded in the clashes in the south of Kyrgyzstan, advisor of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyrgyzstan Ilgar Jabbarov said.
The diplomat said 840 foreigners had been resettled from Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces, there were no Azerbaijanis among them.

“Those who were removed from Osh and Jalal-Abad are mainly students from Turkmenistan and other countries. Uzbeks and Kyrgyz are living in Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces. The Azerbaijanis are studying at the universities in other territories, not in the south of Kyrgyzstan. All of them are under the control of the embassy,” he said. Jabbarov said they regularly keep in touch with 25 Azerbaijanis studying in Kyrgyzstan.
