The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan is set to deport nearly 80 foreigners in an administrative order.

The Azerbaijani State Migration Service's employees take relevant measures to prevent illegal migration, as well as violation of rules by foreigners and stateless persons on temporary and permanent stay in Azerbaijan Republic, Service Spokesman Zarnishan Ahmadova said.
The Migration Service has revealed violation of requirements of existing legislation by 883 foreigners. As many as 234 of them were fined and their residence in the country was legalized. A total of 569 foreigners were ordered to leave the country within 48 hours in compliance with the relevant Articles of the Administrative Offences Code.
In May 2010, the State Migration Service accepted 4.730 applications from foreigners and stateless persons on extension the temporary staying period in the country, granting temporary and permanent residence permissions, acquiring, revocation, restoration of citizenship, determination of citizenship and refugee status, granting and extension of work permits for engaging in labor activity.
Each application was considered in compliance with requirements of existing legislation and relevant decisions were adopted.
