Greece-Azerbaijan agreement on cooperation in emergency situations will be tabled in parliament

The Parliamentary Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Environment discussed the draft agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance between the governments of Greece and Azerbaijan in the field of prevention and liquidation of consequences of natural disasters and technological accidents.

The document reflects the forms of cooperation between the two countries in emergency situations, border crossing detachments assistance and the exchange of information. The committee members stated that the document meets the country's national interests, in connection with which it decided to make recommendations for discussion in the parliament.
