01 June 2010 [10:06] - TODAY.AZ
Speaker of Russia's State Duma Boris Gryzlov said there are good chances to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the short run.
“I would say that quite clear and intelligible steps have been outlined, and there is a good outlook. Necessary decisions are to be made shortly to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”, Boris Gryzlov said at the press conference in Yerevan during his one-day visit to Armenia with an aim to attend a Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of Collective Security Treaty meeting.

Gryzlov emphasized he would not like to go into details as the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is very sensitive. Also Gryzlov said Azerbaijani and Armenian governments continue negotiations regarding the status of Nagorno Karabakh and adjoining territories through mediation of Russia and other reconcilers. According to Russian speaker, he keeps a close eye on the peace talks and well aware about the situation.
