Azerbaijani Parliament increases fines for administrative offences

The Azerbaijani Parliament has increased the amount of fine for a number of administrative violations.
On Monday the Azerbaijani Parliament adopted amendments to Articles 133 and 134 of the Code on administrative violations. According to the amendments to Article 133, a penalty worth 100 manat was fixed for non-observance of safety rules of property and people, the maintenance of discipline on board, by the pilot.

Previously, the penalty for this administrative violation was 20-25 manat. The amount of fines for photos and video on board and use of computers, electronic communication has been also increased. According to the amendments to article 134, offenders must pay 100 manat for smoking in the places not envisaged for it. Previously, offenders paid 30-40 manat.
