Chief of Turkish Gendarmerie Command visiting Baku

Biyik visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev and put flowers at the grave of eminent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva's grave.

He paid tribute to Azerbaijan's brave sons who died for the country's independence and territorial integrity. The Turkish general also visited the Central Office of the Azerbaijan Interior Ministry's Interior Troops to meet Commander, Lieutenant-General Zakir Hasanov. Hasanov informed the Turkish general of the interior troops' work. They also discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation.
