Chairman of Azerbaijan Press Council meets members of Eurasian Journalists Union board

Amashov briefed visitors about the Council's activities and challenges it faces. He touched upon a role of journalists in development of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations as well as cooperation among Turkic speaking nations.

Amashov said conferences held in Baku with participation of journalists contribute to further expanding relationship. Deputy Chairman of the Union Osman Savash highlighted the importance of deepening cooperation among Turkic speaking journalists. The sides discussed signing of protocol of intent between the two organizations, strategic plan and other issues.

Savash handed over a letter of gratitude to the chairman of the Press Council for his contribution to developing relationship among mass media representatives from Turkey and Azerbaijan.
