President Ilham Aliyev opens new building for State Migration Service

President Ilham Aliyev cut a ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the building. The President toured the facilities in the building. The seven-storey building with a total construction area of 7,944 sq.m was built in 17 months.

The building houses service rooms as well as Heydar Aliyev Museum, library, reception of citizens and security departments, meeting rooms, training center, canteen. The Single Migration Data System was installed in the building in accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's executive order.

A video surveillance system was set up to monitor what is going on in the State Migration Service's regional offices in Yevlakh, Shirvan, Lankaran and Khachmaz as well as detention centers for illegal migrants.

The around-the-clock hotline service has been introduced to inform foreigners, stateless persons as well Azerbaijan nationals. President Aliyev congratulated the staff of the State Migration Service and gave them recommendations.
