EU mission to visit Azerbaijan next week

Mr. Heinz Hilbrecht, Director, Security of Supply, Energy Markets and Networks at Directorate-General Energy at the European Commission, will visit Azerbaijan. His purpose is to attend the Caspian Oil & Gas-2010 international exhibition, on June 1-4, in Baku.

Mr. Hilbrecht will speak at the plenary session of the conference on June 2nd on the issue of European Geopolitics of Energy and the Role of Azerbaijan. He will be accompanied by Mr. Christopher Ross, Energy expert on Caucasus and Caspian Region at the European Commission.
