The Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations have adopted a declaration to protest conduct of "parliamentary elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh by the Armenian separatists.

"We have adopted a declaration protesting illegal "elections" to be held by the Armenian separatists. This will be submitted to the UN, OSCE and other international organizations," Member of the State NGO Support Council under the Azerbaijani President and Chairman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Refugees and IDPs Vugar Gadirov said.

Gadirov said the organization led by him, as well as other civil society organizations signed a joint agreement on cooperation to promote the truth about the Armenian separatism throughout the world.

The agreement and declaration protesting the illegitimate "elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh were signed by the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Refugees and IDPs, Council of the Karabakh Youth, the organizations "Third Sector" and "Zirve", Azerbaijani Students Movement and others. The Nagorno-Karabakh's separatist regime will hold parliamentary elections May 23. The Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry earlier made a statement on so-called "parliament elections" in the Nagorno-Karabakh.
