President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated several social and production facilities as part of his visit to Jalilabad region on April 30.
The President kicked off his visit by laying flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev. Head of State then inaugurated Sherab-2 wine factory. The facility's production capacity is 8,000 tons per year.
President Ilham Aliyev then inaugurated an apartment building for invalids and shahid families. The 4-storied building has 36 flats. Afterwards, the President cut the ribbon to officially open a treatment and diagnostics center.
The Head of State toured the facility, and chatted with local residents here. Ilham Aliyev then inaugurated a history and local lore museum and also a chess school.
The Jalilabad visit also saw the President tour Goytapa reservoir and visit newly-overhauled Goytapa frontier unit of the State Frontier Service.
Accompanied by chief of the State Frontier Service Elchin Guliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief viewed military equipment here, viewed soldiers' and officers' quarters and watched a training of armored vehicles.
