Head of Azerbaijani Center for Strategic Research visits Germany

Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the Azerbaijani President Elkhan Nuriyev is on visit to Germany, where he will participate in the conference "New geopolitics of the South Caucasus: A view from Azerbaijan" to be organized by the center and the German Foreign Relations Council April 29, the center reported.

The German MPs, influential political scientists, economists and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Germany are expected to attend the event.

During his Germany visit, Nuriyev will hold meetings with several leaders of the country's think tanks, which will focus on projects of regional significance relating to the two countries' analysis institutes' cooperation in the research field. The meetings will held a broad exchange of views on various issues of internal and external policy of Azerbaijan, including analysis of current state and prospects of  the Azerbaijan-European, and, in particular, the Azerbaijan-Germany relations.
