Prospects of the Azerbaijani-Danish relations were discussed by Azerbaijani ambassador to Great Britain Fakhraddin Gurbanov during a visit to Denmark April 22-25, the Azerbaijani Embassy in the United Kingdom said.
During the visit, Azerbaijani ambassador met with Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Deputy Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Kim Jorgensen and deputy head of the Department of the Danish Foreign Ministry on the European Neighbourhood and Russia William Baugh.
Azerbaijani diplomat informed them about the political process in the region, realized projects and favorable investment atmosphere in the country.
At the meeting Ambassador also touched upon the current state of bilateral relations, prospects of their development, described the situation around the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the report said.
The Danish side, in its turn, noted the importance of studying possibilities of expanding cooperation, prospects of development of trade-economic ties.
During the visit, Ambassador also met with representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Denmark and got acquainted with the community.
