Head of Azerbaijani Center for Strategic Research visits UK

Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the Azerbaijani President Elkhan Nuriyev is on visit to the UK. Nuriyev will be the keynote speaker at a conference on "Azerbaijan's search for solution of the conflict and formation of a new regional order" which is organized by the center and the UK-Azeris Network in Analytical Science Center at the University College of London April 27, the center reported.

Nuriyev will also speak at the roundtable discussion on "Azerbaijan's modern geopolitics" at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) April 28.

The British parliamentarians, influential political scientists, economists and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in the UK are expected to attend the events.

During the visit, Nuriyev will also hold meetings with leading representatives of the expert community, in which will be an extensive exchange of views on various issues of internal and external policy of Azerbaijan, including analysis of current state and development prospects of the Azerbaijan-European and, in particular, Azerbaijani-British relations.
