Azerbaijan's national leader to be commemorated in Israel

The municipality of Hadera city in Israel decided to commemorate the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, said the press service of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

At the raequest of the Azerbaijan-Israel International Association, the alley in the street Ahad Ha-Am in the center of the Hadera city will be named after the National Leader and a memorial plaque will be established there. Financed by the Israeli government, reconstruction work will be carried out in the alley with an area of 3,800 square meters.

In addition, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora and the Azerbaijan-Israel International Association will organize an international conference on "Asia Minor: mass media and regional conflicts", which will cover the role of media in resolving conflicts. Discussions will focus on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the situation in the Middle East, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan.
