NATO PA delegation visits Azerbaijani parliament

First deputy chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA Ziyafat Asgarov emphasized the successful development of Azerbaijan-NATO relations, press service of the Azerbaijani parliament said.

Asgarov said Azerbaijani soldiers were contributing to peace and security in “hot spots” of the world within the international peaceful forces. He said Azerbaijan was actively participating in a number of NATO events, including the NATO PA events.

Chairman of the NATO PA Political Committee’s subcommittee for NATO partnership Rainer Stinner said his organization attached great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan. He said Azerbaijan was one of the most active partners to NATO.
