Azerbaijani President congratulates Irish President with national holiday

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Irish President Mary McAleese with the national holiday - St. Patrick's Day, AzerTaj state news agency reported.

"I congratulate you and all your people on my own and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people with the national holiday of Ireland - St. Patrick's Day. I am sure that Azerbaijani-Irish relations will further develop on the basis of friendship and cooperation in accordance with the interests of our peoples," the letter said.

Azerbaijani President wished Mary McAleese good health, success in work, and prosperity to fraternal Irish people.
