Azerbaijan appoints ambassador for special assignments

Former ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran Abbasali Hasanov was appointed ambassador for special assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry’s spokesman Elkhan Polukhov said.

Hasanov worked as the Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran till Nov. 2, 2009.
