Azerbaijani parliament's observation mission says parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan were transparent and democratic

Member of the Azerbaijani delegation, chairman of the parliament’s agrarian policy committee Eldar Ibrahimov said the elections were held in the peaceful atmosphere in Uzbekistan on Dec. 27.

He said the elections were in line with the European standards.

Ibrahimov said they observed the voting in the regions around Tashkent.

The Azerbaijani delegation included MPs Eldar Ibrahimov, Hadi Rajabli, Aydin Abbasov, Chingiz Asadullayev and Akram Abdullayev.
