25 December 2009 [12:25] - TODAY.AZ
Ukraine's Ambassador in Baku Boris Klimchuk has said his country`s position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains unchanged.
Speaking to a press conference on Thursday, Klimchuk said Ukraine supports Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and wants the dispute to be peacefully solved.

“We want the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be solved by peace in the soonest possible time, and, of course, based on Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.”

The ambassador praised the fact Ukraine and Azerbaijan share “common views” on the international level.

“We have the same position on almost all international issues,” he added.

Klimchuk also hailed the two countries` economic relations. The ambassador said: “In the first ten months of this year trade between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was $470 million.”

“And, surely, we have potential to considerably increase the figure,” added Klimchuk.
