New Azerbaijan party holds conference on transition period

Starting the event with opening remarks, NAP Deputy Chairman Ali Ahmadov told of the municipal election in Azerbaijan, which was held in democratic, transparent manner.

He said the conference is devoted to “we have already completed the transition period in the economic field” thesis proposed by President Ilham Aliyev at the ceremony to mark the 90th anniversary of the Baku State University.

Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev told of the economic reforms started by national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Also speaking at the event were executive director of the State Oil Fund Shahmar Movsumov, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Economics Shamsaddin Hajiyev and others.
