18 December 2009 [12:55] - TODAY.AZ
A new website prepared by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan www.garabagh.ws was presented in Baku today.
Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Seyfaddin Gandilov said the website had been prepared by the academy together with UNESCO Center and “Friendship” Youth Coordination Center with the support of the Council of State Support for NGOs.

Vice-speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova said the injustice concerning Karabakh continues and it is duty of every Azerbaijani citizen to raise awareness of world public about the truths.

“Sometimes some individual and public activity can draw attention of the world community more than the official activity. We meet with the heads of various organizations, draw their attention to the problem. A number of websites on Karabakh have been launched and certain work has been done in this respect so far. But this is not enough. The process should continue until the problem is solved,” she said.

According to the chairman of the Council of State Support for NGOs Azay Guliyev, a new stage has begun in the information war between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Therefore, there are greater tasks ahead and there should be more similar websites.

“The website should also cover the state’s policy on Karabakh,” he said.
