Azerbaijani servicemen to attend NATO events

Azerbaijani servicemen will attend the events held as part of the Partnership for Peace Program and Individual Partnership Action Plan signed with NATO, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

The ministry said in line with the bilateral military cooperation plan signed with Turkey, Azerbaijani servicemen will attend the course “Tabip-Anjiografi” in Ankara from Dec. 1 till Oct. 1, 2010, course for ensigns “Protection from weapons of mass destruction” in Istanbul from Dec. 7 till Dec. 25 and a course for officers “Field engineering and mines” in Izmir from Dec. 7 till Jan. 1, 2010.

Estonia’s military attaché will visit Baku under the bilateral cooperation program on Dec. 10-11.
