Azerbaijani parliament ratifies several documents

Azerbaijani parliament has ratified Nakhchivan agreement on “Establishing Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking States."
MP Samad Seyidov briefed on the document.

He said ratification of such an agreement will deepen the cooperation among the Turkic-speaking states.

Later, “Nakhchivan Declaration of the 9th summit of heads of Turkic-speaking states” was approved.

The parliament also ratified Declaration on establishing strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania, agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Romania on cooperation in combating transborder organized crimes and international terrorism, draft agreements between the governments of Azerbaijan and Romania on cooperation in eliminating consequences of the emergency situations.

The parliamentarians also approved the conventions on “Maintenance and promotion of the cultural self-management diversity” and “Protection of the European architectural heritage”, drafts on amendments to the law on “Civil service” and amendments and annexes to several laws.

The next sitting of the parliament will be held on Dec. 4.
