Azerbaijani president receives ITU secretary general

The Secretary General said he is pleased to attend the Azerbaijan international telecommunications and information technologies exhibition again.

He stressed the importance of Azerbaijan`s achieving progress in the ICT sector.

Toure expressed assurance that the work the country has done in this sector will produce successful results in the future.

The Head of State also noted, that the information and communication technologies sector has already achieved huge progress despite it has started developing recently.

President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of the “BAKUTEL-2009” 15th Azerbaijan international telecommunications and information technologies exhibition.

According to him, the exhibition enlarges and sees increasing interests year by year.
