Azerbaijan receives applications from 45 countries to participate in 4th Int'l Junior Science Olympiad in Baku

A total of 45 countries have already applied to participate in the 4th International Junior Science Olympiad that will be held in Baku in Dec., the Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry said.
The Olympiad will be organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Youth and Sport Ministry, Education Ministry and Cag Ogretim Isletmeleri.

Education and Science Committees and a Working Group have been established to make preparations for the Olympiad.

Tests on physics, chemistry and biology, theoretical and experimental tasks have been prepared with participation of the national experts.

The equipment for experiment has been ordered in the foreign companies.

About 100 English-language volunteers have been selected and extra trainings were held for them.

Over 15 teenagers from 50 countries will participate in the competition. The questions will be in English. The teenagers will simultaneously compete in physics, chemistry and biology.
