Azerbaijani foreign ministry expresses protest to Turkey

Azerbaijan officially expressed protest to Turkey against the disrespect to Azerbaijan’s flag during the football match between the Turkish and Armenian teams as part of the world cup qualifier on Oct. 14.

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov invited Chargé d'affaires of Turkey to Azerbaijan Nihat Cinaver to the foreign ministry to convey Azerbaijan’s protest to his country’s authorities.
