Diaspora threatens to stop financing for Armenia

He said the first step the diaspora will undertake after Protocols’ conclusion would be cessation of financing to Armenia.

Avedian noted that postponement of protocols singing gave diaspora reason to hope Armenia has altered its position and will refrain from choosing this way of reaching Armenia-Turkey rapprochement.

“Protocols are yet awaiting parliamentary ratification, which, I’m sure, does not promise any favorable development of events for Armenia,” Avedian said.
