Turkish President comments on signing of Turkey-Armenia protocols

Turkish President Abdullah Gul said while commenting on signing of the protocols between Turkey and Armenia that "problems can emerge from time to time. But if intentions and wills are clear, we can come to a conclusion. If we succeed in creating a cooperation environment in whole Caucasus region, we can resolve all security issues", Anadolu reported.

Gul told reporters, "we aim at creating an atmosphere of confidence and stability in Caucasus. After normalization of Turkey-Armenian and Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and putting an en to problems in Georgia, a great cooperation area will emerge."

Asked whether President Serzh Sargsian of Armenia would come to Turkey to watch the game, President Gul, "I hope that Mr. Sargsian will come. There is still time ahead of us. I hope that he will come."
