Azerbaijan is very important partner for EU: French ambassador

Azerbaijan advantageously differs from many countries by its tolerance, French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller said at a meeting in the Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President on Oct. 9.
He said that France plays a great role in establishing relations between EU and Azerbaijan.

Ambassador said that Azerbaijan is very important partner for EU, especially in terms of energy.

Azerbaijan is also connecting link between Central Asia and EU, the diplomat said.

"France acts as co-chair in OSCE Minsk Group. It is important for us to contribute to settlement of Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict and establish peace in the South Caucasus," the ambassador said.
