Nomination of candidates in Azerbaijan's municipal elections begins

Azerbaijan has given a start to municipal elections scheduled for Dec. 23.
The decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) concerning the date of the elections has been published in the state-run newspaper today.

The persons who will participate in the local elections can put forward their candidacy from today.

The signature collection needed for registration of candidates will last Nov. 13.
