The situation in the Caucasus does not meet the interests of the region countries, said Turkish President Abdullah Gul at the opening of the autumn session of the Grand National Assembly (Parliament) of the country, CNN Turk television channel reported.
"The situation in the Caucasus does not meet the interests of the region countries," said Gul.
He said that Ankara's efforts to restore stability in the region raise the international credibility of the country.
