Slovenian president to trip to Baku

Prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovenia will be discussed at the highest level in Baku in November.
The talks will be held as part of Slovenian President Danilo Turk's official visit to Baku on Nov. 9-10, Slovenian honorary consul to Azerbaijan Borut Megushar said.

"Organizing of the visit has already launched. Work over bilateral documents planned to be signed during the visit is underwa," the consul said.

"Six draft documents on bilateral cooperation have been submitted to the Azerbaijani side. But it still unknown which of them will be signed during the visit."

"The documents cover economic spheres of cooperation," he said.

The issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian spheres will be discussed by the presidents of both countries.

"Special attention will be paid to energy cooperation during the visit," Megushar said.

Business delegation including representatives of 56 Slovenian companies will accompany the President during his visit.

Business-forum including businessmen of both countries is planned to be organized within Slovenian President's visit to Baku.

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Slovenia totaled $26.1 million in January-May 2009.
