Azerbaijani parliament approves plan of legislative action of fall session - UPDATE

Azerbaijani parliament has approved plan of legislative action of the fall session.

A total of 30 issues were included into the agenda of the first sitting of Azerbaijani parliament’s fall session.

A plan of legislative action of the fall session was approved at the sitting.

The plan includes Construction Code, bills in the state budget package, City building Code, Competition Code, bills on “Prevention of domestic violence”, “Participation of citizens in ensuring public order”, “Reports of municipalities”, “Cotton growing”, “Azerbaijan’s participation in peacekeeping operations”, “Higher education”, “Reproductive health and family planning” and other issues.

Speaker Ogtay Asadov made a keynote speech. He wished the parliamentarians success.

Asadov said new administrative building of the parliament had been launched and it houses cabinets for all parliamentarians and committee chairmen.

Parliamentarians began making speeches on current issues.
