Argentinean diplomat arrested in Iran

The customs officials arrested the diplomat of the Argentinean embassy in Iran when he was trying to illegally export from Iran objects related to classical antiquity. The customs officials seized 250 packages of different, including objects, manuscripts, ancient weapons and etc.

A great number of packed things aroused suspicion in the customs officers. The officers raided and eventually seized antiques.

The weight of antiquities totaled three tons.
