Updated version of the Madrid principles on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is ready and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will submit it to the sides during the next visit to the region.
"The Madrid principles have been updated. We have worked on this at a meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Krakow in late July," the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair from Russia Yuri Merzlyakov said.
The new version will be submitted to the sides during another visit to the region.
A working meeting of the OSCE MG co-chairs was held in Krakow on July 25-26.
Merzlyakov said the OSCE MG co-chairs will visit Azerbaijan next week.
In Baku, the MG will work to organize meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia scheduled for Oct. in Chisinau.
