Co-chairs will discuss renewed Madrid principles during visit to Baku: Azerbaijani foreign ministry

He said the negotiations on the conflict settlement is continuing.

"Azerbaijani Foreign Minister has met with the co-chairs as part of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly."

“The situation in the region, negotiations and co-chairs’ upcoming visit to the region were discussed at the meeting. They [co-chairs] have decided to pay a visit in October. We are waiting for that visit. We will express our opinion during the discussions," Polukhov said.

"The minister said our position on the conflict settlement and foreign policy priorities remained steady that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict could be solved only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. It means that the status of autonomy could be discussed only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan," Polukhov added.
