First sitting of Azerbaijani parliament’s fall session due on Sept. 30

The first sitting of Azerbaijani parliament’s fall session will be held on Sept. 30, the parliament said.
Two days before the first sitting of the fall session, on Sept. 28, the new building of the parliament will be inaugurated. The plan of legislative activities will be confirmed before the fall session begins.

The majority of the bills that will be discussed in the fall session are known.

Bill on “State budget for 2010”, bills on “Reproductive health and family planning”, “Higher education”, “Non-bank loan organizations”, amendments to the law on “Prosecutor’s office”, Competition Code, Construction Code and other documents will be discussed during the fall session.
