Azerbaijani parliament to ratify document on completion of delimitation of borders with Russia

There are more than 30 matters on the agenda of the first meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament's autumn session.
"The document signed by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, on the completion of the delimitation of borders and fundamental principles of division of the Samur River water basin, is expected to be ratified at the first meeting," member of the Committee on Security and Defense Zahid Oruj said.

Oruj said the first meeting will also discuss the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Serbia, Oman, Libya and Estonia.

Some additions and changes are envisaged to the legislation on electricity, tobacco products, public service, as well as to the bill on broadcasting of public television and radio, Oruj said.

"In addition, a plan on legislative work of the autumn session will be approved at the first meeting."

The first meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament's autumn session will be held on Sept. 30.
