President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev’s official visit to Azerbaijan will be rescheduled, Kazakhstan’s embassy in Azerbaijan said.

The visit is rescheduled as the summit of the heads of Turkic-speaking states will be held in Nakhchivan on Oct. 2 to 3.
Kazakhstan’s President will attend the summit. The date of the President’s visit is being specified.
Previously, Nursultan Nazarbayev planned to trip to Azerbaijan on Sept. 30 - Oct. 1.
Prior to the visit, the next meeting of Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission will be held in Baku. The documents to be signed as a part of the visit will be decided at the meeting.
The agenda of the commission includes agreements on road and sea transport, documents on industry, energy, agriculture and emergency situations.
