President of Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities to make a trip to Baku

He said that the visit agenda is being worked out.

On September 21, Ian Micallef will make a report on his Baku visit in the Bureau of the Congress.

Asked whether the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will observe the forthcoming local elections in Azerbaijan, Marchenkov said.

The Bureau will consider the issue, prepare plan of measures and set up observation group as soon as Azerbaijan sends official invitation.

“We are going to observe this election,” he said.
