Georgia's defense minister replaced

Bacho Akhalaia has been appointed Georgia's new defense minister.
Formerly he served as deputy defense minister, said the press release of the Presidential Palace.

Akhalaia replaced David Sikharulidze on this post.

Akhalaia was the coordinator of the Liberty Institute NGO, Deputy Ombudsman and head of the department on execution of punishments. He was appointed deputy minister of defense last year.
