Azerbaijan- Lithuania relations to be discussed in Baku

The visit of the Lithuanian parliament's head is scheduled for December, the Lithuania's embassy in Azerbaijan said.

It is response visit of Lithuania's parliamentary chairman. The delegation of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament)led by speaker Oqtay Asadov paid official visit to Lithuania on May 14-16.

During the talks in Baku Valinskas will discuss further development of political and economic cooperation between the two countries and Lithuania's interest in realization of large energy projects.

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Lithuania totaled $4.6 million in January-May 2009, according to the Azerbaijani statistics committee.
