Former U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs to arrive in Azerbaijan

The American diplomat will meet with a number of Azerbaijani officials.

On August 24, Grossman will deliver a lecture at the roundtable “Challenges of diplomacy in the 21st century”. Representatives of Foreign Ministry and Diplomatic Academy, parliamentarians, representatives of the diplomatic offices accredited in Azerbaijan, experts on regional and international relations will also attend the roundtable.

Marc Grossman was the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey in 1994-1997, Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs in 1997-2000 and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs in 2001-2005. Marc Grossman is now vice-chairman of Cohen Group.
