Azerbaijani president sends Independence Day greetings to Afghan counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today sent a letter of felicitation to President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai on the occasion of the country`s holiday, Independence Day.
“I am sure that we will continue our efforts to preserve and strengthen Azerbaijan-Afghanistan friendship based on historical traditions and expand our ties in all spheres,” the letter said.

The President wished his Afghan counterpart good health, success in his activities and friendly people of Afghanistan welfare and tranquility.
