Representatives of Azerbaijani and Armenian youth will hold a meeting in Mariengham in Finland from August 17 to 23.
Young people from Finland, Sweden and foreign experts will also attend the meeting.
Nine youth from Azerbaijan and five from Armenia will participate at the meeting organized by Aland Peace Institute. Total of 28 people will be in attendance.
The meeting will focus on current conflicts, ways of resolution, gender issues and situation of women during conflicts. Junior professor on peace and conflict resolution Kjell-ake Nordguist, journalist and researcher Salla Nazarenko, adviser for gender issues Mia Ganstr and representative of Aland island to Finland’s parliament Elizabeth Naujler will also participate in the discussions.
Presentations on culture of each country will be made during the five-day event.
