Azerbaijani president offers Independence Day greetings to Indian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to his Indian counterpart Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on the country`s Independence day.

“I hope that friendly and cooperative relationship between Azerbaijan and India will continue to develop serving interests of our peoples”, the letter says.

The Head of State wished the Indian leader robust health, successes in her activities and the people of India - peace and prosperity.
