U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Bryza visited Azerbaijan on August 12.

Diplomat Tina Kaidanow will replace Matthew Bryza as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, but not as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, the press service of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan said.
During a visit to Tbilisi, Matthew Bryza said Tina Kaidanow will replace him in the post of OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, Radio Liberty Azerbaijan service reported.
Mrs. Kaidanow was appointed U.S. ambassador to Kosovo in 2008.
Formerly Mrs. Kaidanow served as U.S. special envoy to Pristina (the capital of Kosovo - auth.). In turn, she arrived in Kosovo from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) where she worked as U.S. special mission deputy head for three years. Kaidanow was actively involved with the U.S. policy in the Balkans.
